The Ontic Arts Field Notes explore the practices by which symbol, question, body, image, dream, synchronicity, and attention become instruments of ontological perception.
These notes arise from the same deeper inquiry as the main Querying Qualia Field Notes, but they concern the instruments through which the Field is approached, read, and brought into relation.
Practices for reading the Field.
The Ontic Arts are intuitive, symbolic, and participatory practices through which awareness learns to enter relation with the living Field.
They include symbolic systems, tarot, dreamwork, synchronicity, journaling, embodied noticing, question practice, and other disciplines through which meaning is not merely analysed, but encountered.
Within Querying Qualia, these practices are not treated as prediction, superstition, performance, or psychological theatre. They are approached as instruments of perception: ways of bringing attention, symbol, body, question, and Field into contact.
Symbol
A form through which meaning becomes visible before it is fully explained.
Question
The opening through which attention becomes precise enough to receive relation.
Field
The living context in which perception, meaning, body, memory, and reality come into contact.
Teller’s Tarot opened the threshold through practice.
Before the wider ontology of Querying Qualia had been made publicly visible, Teller’s Tarot had already opened one of its first doorways through the intuitive arts.
The early Teller’s Tarot essays were not merely tarot essays. They were the first public manifestation of a deeper inquiry into symbol, participation, question, attention, and the living Field.
Querying Qualia now names the ontology more directly. Ontic Arts gathers the symbolic and participatory practices into their proper place within that architecture.
